Since its founding in 2013, the DRESDEN RESIDENZ ORCHESTRA has delighted its guests in the historical Dresden Zwinger Palace with classical masterpieces, played by outstanding young musicians, each weekend. The young orchestra enthusiastically plays world famous works, written by composers such as Antonio Vivaldi, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Johann Strauss.

Prof. Igor Malinovsky, the founder of the Orchestra unifies both the Russian and Viennese tradition of playing violin and worked as first concertmaster with some of the best orchestras in Europe, such as Berlin Komische Oper, Munich Bayerisches Staatsorchester and Valencia Palau des Arts Reina Sofia. These international experiences he applies to his work with his young and motivated musicians. Beside the concerts in Dresden, the orchestra recently enchanted a big audience in Berlin (Berliner Philharmonie) and in Munich (Residenz München).
